: :True pierce is not the best cc to go to but there have been 6 guys to go on to 4 years from pierce in the 2002 and 2003 seasons that went on to four year schools, and four of them played in the NAIA world series something that a lot of others from top cc's in the NWAACC have not done, but then again pierce had a lot better talent and coaches then.
I think Pierce will be just fine. Jason is a good coach, Ryan Rhoades is an excellent hitting coach and I think I know pitching pretty well. Muche was a decent coach in 2002 and 2003. These guys placed quite a few guys off of last years club onto four years with money. We just rec'd the OK to redo Western State and we will be using Maguinez Field as our home field throughout the fall. If we get our upgraded sprinkler system and new turf on the infield installed, we'll be all set for next year. Pierce will be just fine. The recruits for next year are actually strong, especially compared to past years. We are confident that with a field, new weight room and a commitment to winning, we'll be competing for a playoff spot next season.
