: Football is OK in the fall. Summer passing camps, spring football, etc.... is crap. If high school baseball clubs had the balls and told their stud players to play fall ball or forget about spring, football coaches would be in an uproar. That, in my opinion, is the problem with football. If these guys are two sport or three sport athletes, than they should be able to participate in their respective sports during that sports typical season. In the past, we have lost key guys in our lineup to CWU's football camp in July. These players were told if they did not show up in July, don't show up in the fall. They missed some big tourneys to be in an extended football practice. That is one reason baseball guys just don't like football guys.
: Besides, I bet there are more college baseball players in Pierce County than football. Why not practice at something you have a reasonable chance of moving on with?
