: : : The Krushers seem to be the team to want to watch this year. There are good teams in this area, but this mixed bag of the best have made an A list for baseball around here. They are quick, game, and interesting. They've got smashers like Dillard from South Kitsap High and Wilson. Their runners are gone if the ball is out of hands for 2 seconds and the coach paces around wisecracking and is pretty blase about it all. The pitchers are creme as well, mostly out of Staduim - Scholl's personality gets to the mound before he does and he's an intimidator from the time he steps on the mound. Getting a close-up of him glaring at the batters is exciting. Heres Tacomas chance to sit in on some old time baseball. Cubby is an optical illusion, looking very ordinary and composed while he finnesses pitch after pitch. Cosgrove from South Kitsap High is a very All American looking kid who only knows how to excel - and there's Pasquale from Wilson, who is like a wind-up going around the bases. Some kids even come down from Alaska to play on this team. All in all this is first class American entertainment.

: : Didn't Mid Sound lose to Triple Play last week? It was TP's website they were supposed to play tonight...what happened to the game? Mid Sound didn't want a re-match? Does anyone know who the Mid Sound coach is always talking to on his cell phone in the third base box? How tacky.
: Wilkinson moved thier tourney up a day so we had to cancel with TP. Our first game was supposed to be Thursday, instead we played at 2:30 in Bannerwood on Wednesday. We are trying to find a date that works for both of us. I'm trying to limit my cell usage on the field. It's tough when the guys call or are returning calls from messages I have left earlier in the day or I'm wondering where they are or when they'll be at the field. Finals and graduations just kill us this time of year. I agree, the cell in the box is tacky. I'll turn it off after this week.
Any roster spots open on this team? A couple infielders and one outfield/pitcher looking for a team.
